Schedule of events

We are hosting our wedding at Camp Woodbury, a 150 acre property of forests, lakes, and fields just outside of Ann Arbor. We are so excited to welcome you there and would love to spend as much time with you as we can, so we rented the camp for an extra day and we're planning some events for Friday for those who might be able to join us early. If you are able to come, we'd be so thrilled to see you, but please know that these are truly optional! In the event of rain, we'll shift some activities into the lodge or the covered deck overlooking the lake, and we have a tent for dinner.

Friday Camp Activities

10:30 am - 4:30 pm

Casual

Friday we're excited to welcome you and get a bit of extra time with you. Here's our tentative plan (may shift a bit with weather). We'll have snacks and drinks available all day. Frisbee - 11 to 12 Lunch around 12 (we'll have lunch ingredients and we'll grill / make sandwiches) Football - 2-3 Organized sports not your jam? Don't worry! We have access to the lake (& water crafts), cards, backgammon, other games, and there's hiking, plus we'll have Can Jam, Spikeball, Corn Hole, and other ways to pass the time. If it rains, we'll plan to shift hang out time to the lodge and play some games and music inside.

Attire theme: "Old Fashioned"

For those who don't know, Elyse loves a theme. We picked this one in honor of the party we (unexpectedly) attended together on our first date, which was also "Old Fashioned" themed. Wear your "Old Fashioned" best - feel free to be creative and interpret that as you like, we're excited to see you looking fabulous in whatever you think works best. There's no wrong answer here - we know we're being vague but it's because we're excited for some variety in interpretation. Dinner will be heavy hors d'oeuvres at a grazing table plus sliders (meat + vegetarian). After dinner, we'll plan to do a bonfire and music! Please bring an instrument if you can :)

Saturday Camp Activities

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Casual (feel free to wear your sports and games attire!)

We're hoping to spend some time having fun with you at the camp! This will be a bit less planned than Friday but we'll play some pickup sports and have all the same fun and games available as on Friday. Lunch will be catered grab & go burritos (chicken & vegetarian) with chips and guacamole. We'll have snacks and drinks available all day. The brides need to go get ready around 1pm but you're welcome to stay on site as long as you'd like - but don't forget you'll need time to get your Funky Formal on!

Plan for Saturday evening: 4:30 - Ceremony 5:15 - 6:15pm - Cocktail Hour 6:15-8:15 - Dinner in the tent 8:30-11 - Dessert and dancing in lodge 11:30 - Last bus leaves for hotels
