What time do I REALLY need to be there?

Answer

3:30 PM is the arrival time, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Our venue is gated and has a security guard at the front, so it will take some time to get into the venue itself. Please be prepared to give them your name, and let them know that you are here for the Chan Wedding at The Retreat. We would love for everyone to get a chance to sign our guestbook as well. Thank you for helping us start on time!

How's the parking situation?

Answer

There's a huge parking lot right outside the venue entrance. No parking fees!

Question

Will we be indoors or outdoors? Will it be cold in February?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, with portable heaters in the reception area. We anticipate that it will be around 70 degrees at the beginning of the wedding, and getting cooler as the celebration progresses. We recommend bringing a jacket!

I have food or drink restrictions. Who should I talk to?

Is there any way to avoid paying the fees on the registry?

Answer

Zola charges a processing fee, but you're welcome (and encouraged) to use Venmo for any wedding gift amounts as well! It is much appreciated! Send to: @calvinsfchan Thank you for your gifts!

Covid safety concerns?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors. Masks will also be provided if you choose to take one.
