The Bride and the Groom will be staying here for the wedding weekend. Located in the heart of downtown Detroit with many walkable attractions, restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel is a stop on the Detroit People Mover and an approximately 6 minute (0.3 mi) walk to the reception at the Colony Club Detroit. Please use the below link to book in the reserved discounted block. Last day to book the block is Friday, October 17th.

Atheneum Suite Hotel

The hotel is located in the Greektown neighborhood with walkable shops and restaurants as well as nearby casino. It is also located on the Detroit People Mover. To book a reservation please call 800-772-2323. Block reservations need to be completed by Friday, October 7th.

Shuttle

Detroit Air Xpress (DAX)

The Detroit Air Express is a shuttle from the Detroit International Airport into downtown Detroit. The schedule of times can be found here: https://detroit-air-xpress.webflow.io/ride?scrollto=schedule. The shuttle bus drops off at 1119 Washington Blvd, between Michigan Avenue and State Street. It is easy access from there to the Detroit People Mover (see below). Tickets are $8 at the gate and $6 in advance.

Detroit People Mover (DTM)

The Detroit People Mover is a FREE monorail that runs through the city of Detroit. It runs in one direction in a large circle counterclockwise through the major areas of downtown. The monorail comes through each station approximately every 5-10 minutes. The Atheneum and the Hotel David Whitney both have stops on the Detroit People Mover.
