Maid of Honor
Nicole and Janell are cousins and have been best friends their whole lives. They grew up spending every free minute together - play dates, after school shenanigans, and too many sleep overs to count. They have been there for each other every step of the way, especially through the very difficult times in their lives. This wedding wouldn't be complete without Nicole standing by her side, as they have been planning to have these roles in one another wedding's their whole lives. Your turn Nicole!
Best Man
The oldest of the Kaufman boys. He led the way for the three brothers and helped determine what sports and activities Andrew would be doing throughout his life growing up (because obviously Andrew wanted to do the same thing). He also helped create well over 20 nicknames for Andrew over the years, a number of which are still relevant today (Violent Pal, Gordon King of Small Kings, Doobs, etc.).
Bridesmaid
Erin and Janell are cousins, as well as great friends. Erin has always been like an older sister to Janell, letting her tag-along as kids, to actually wanting to hang out together as adults. At one point, they even lived together during Janell's time in Albany. Erin and Kevin (her husband) graciously opened their home up to Janell, which also happened to be right after their first baby was born (Bobby). That was a time neither of them will ever forget. Janell is so thankful for all those memories shared and can't wait to add her wedding to that list.
Best Man
The middle brother and certainly the provocateur of the Kaufmans. Matt continued to help shape Andrew's life growing up, whether it be by helping to create new nicknames for Andrew or more simply just leading the beat downs and detonations. Andrew spent three years being stick-boy to the high school hockey team and thus spent the rest of high school as "Little Kauf" to avoid confusion.
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Janell are also cousin (there are a lot of them). Janell grew up idolizing Amanda and would jump at every chance she could to hang out with her cool older cousin. Amanda and Erin are sister, so you can imagine that they probably didn't want another one, but that didn't stop Janell from tagging along. Janell learned a lot from Amanda, like how to swim, draw, find great deals at Target, and to not smile too big or your gums/cheeks will show. Janell is thrilled to have her idol stand with her on her big day!
Groomsman
The final Kaufman "brother" (but of no actual relation). Andrew and Mike met in college and spent four years together playing hockey and living together. It wasn't love-at-first-sight for the two, but after helping Mike move a TV freshman year, they quickly became best friends and rather inseparable from that point on.
Bridesmaid
Janell and Alicia have been best friends since high school. They were inseparable once they realized they weren't enemies (high school is tough). Like many teenagers, they made questionable decisions that today would give anyone a heart attack, and even they admit they are lucky to be alive. They some of their best memories and still to this day get mistaken for twins. No matter where they are in their lives, they will always be there for each other. Janell always knew that Alicia would be by her side on her big day.
Groomsman
Hockey coach, friend, "brother"...family neighbor. Bill had the pleasure of coaching Andrew throughout his college hockey career (though it didn't take much coaching due to Andrew's pure talent). Still, Bill finally helped Andrew learn to take a slap shot in his 20's (a feat typically mastered by then). Bill and Andrew bicker like siblings or an old married couple.
Bridesman
Martin and Janell have been best friends since high school. They bonded during freshman year, which was a very hard year for the both of them. Martin had just moved to the area and Janell was going through the hardest time in her life. They got through all the horrible math classes, awkward school lunches, and weird high school parties together. Janell can always count on Martin to be there for her, especially leading up to and on her wedding day. Janell wouldn't have it any other way!
Groomsman
The newest "brother"(-in-law) and brother of the Bride. Michael and Andrew have known each other for the full extent of Andrew's relationship with Janell. Michael and Janell have a resilient bond and have always been there for each other. While potentially an intimidating Chef (...sharp knives) at first, Andrew's certainly found his teddy-bear demeanor.
