Jane's brother-in-law (i.e. married to the officiant)! Stephen will serve as the assistant to the ring bearer. Will hopefully help the ring bearer walk in a straight line, without sniffing every single person down the aisle.
Ryan Evans
Best Man
One of Ian's best friends. Ian and Ryan both grew up in Oberlin and have known each other since childhood. Ryan has been Ian's friend, bartender, opponent, and business partner. When Ian says, "Hey baby!" it's Ryan he's talking to, not Jane.
Andrew Sherman
Best Man of Honor?
One of Jane's best friends. Not only did Jane and Andrew attend the same high school and college -- they were also born on the same day in the same hospital. Twins? Maybe. Best friends? Definitely.
Laura Kuennen-Poper
Mother of the Ian
On any average day, you can find Laura working, reading, gardening, cooking, or thrifting around Northeast Ohio -- but for this wedding, she will be event coordinating, cake baking, flower arranging, and more.
Roy Poper
Father of the Ian
Roy is a lifelong fisherman, and these days you can usually find him out on his boat around Lake Erie. When he's not on the water or working, he's hanging out with cats Zuka and Coco. As a father and husband, Roy will be assisting with the wedding coordination.
Rachel Clark
Mother of the Jane
Translator and peace activist. Rachel will be making the journey from her cozy cabin in up-up-upstate New York, where she enjoys fresh farmstand produce and Amish baked goods. She will be helping Jane and Ian organize a belated honeymoon after Jane's graduation in 2023.
Kevin Clark
Father of the Jane // Team Captain
Kevin lives on Long Island with his wife Akmar. When he's not working, he spends his free time playing Scrabble, studying chess, and watching K-dramas. Kevin will be serving as one of our "Team Captains", helping to guide his ever-growing extended family on the day of the wedding.
Anne Clark
Officiant
Jane's most favorite (and only) older sister. Jane officiated Anne's wedding, and now Anne is returning the favor. Anne and Stephen spend their free time gardening, cooking, hiking, and playing board games.
