Formal Group Photos: Clarks

Family photos with the happy couple and the wedding photographer. Meet at the front steps of the Allen Memorial Art Museum, weather permitting. (Back-up location for rain TBA.)

Ceremony

Suggested attire for this event is "elegant casual": feel free to get a little gussied up but don't worry too much! See the FAQ page for more tips.

Note on accessibility: The ceremony will be on the ground floor. Bosworth Hall is wheelchair accessible via a ramp on the west side of the building. There is an accessible, single-use bathroom next to Fairchild Chapel. More bathrooms are available downstairs, via stairs on either end of the building.

Enjoy the summer and chat with friends before heading over to the reception. Unless you have been conscripted into finishing the reception set up -- then it's off to work with you!

Reception

MENU: 1 - 1:30PM: APPETIZERS Spring rolls, samosas and chutney, spinach pie, felafel, hummus, olives 1:30PM: LUNCH BUFFET Thai BBQ chicken, Thai BBQ beef, fried rice; mushroom, goat cheese, and spinach strata; brunch potatoes; salad with dressing on the side 2:15PM: TOASTS POST-TOAST: WEDDING CAKES German chocolate cake; vanilla cake with buttercream frosting, raspberry curd, and lemon curd; an unintentionally vegan strawberry rhubarb pie DRINKS Champagne, mimosas, beer, soft drinks, sparkling water, coffee, tea ----- Note on accessibility: The reception will be on the second floor of the Feve. It is accessible only by stairs. If you or a loved one will need help getting up the stairs, let us or your team captain know in advance.

That's it for the formal stuff! Now you get to hang out with the family and friends you don't get to see often (or maybe you see them too often). Oberlin is a beautiful town, especially in the summer. It's a great place to just walk around and unwind. In addition, there's the beautiful Apollo movie theater; a small bowling alley and billiards room by the Cat and the Cream Cafe; and kittens you can pet in the back room of Gingko Art Gallery. Or if you've had enough small town charm, feel free to explore the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland! We especially recommend Tabletop Board Game Cafe or Mitchell's Ice Cream. If you haven't already gorged yourself at the Feve, we love SOHO Chicken + Whiskey. The iconic West Side Market will be open Sunday morning if you decide to check out Cleveland on Sunday. Jane and Ian will take a minute to rest -- but let us know what you decide to do! We want to spend a little more time with you all, so we hope to pop around and say hi.
