Travel and Lodging

The Wedding Website of Leah Day and Jacob Weimann
NOTE: As of 1 Apr, all rooms at this property have been booked. We can no longer take reservations for this property. If you have not been allocated a room, we will let you know if any become available last minute, but do not expect this. You will need to now find separate lodging in the area. Check the below blurb and FAQs on where we recommend to stay. For the record for those that have been able to book, the price is $125 per person total for all nights. If you are not staying at Wellspring Spa, we recommend staying in Tacoma for the best value and closest amount of variety of lodging locations. If you want to have fun and don't mind spending a bunch of money and driving 2 hours, we recommend Seattle. There are many places in Seattle - both fancy hotels and fancy AirBNBs.

Receive a confirmation from us on which room you will get and how to pay - will most likely be Venmo or similar method

Flight

SeaTac Airport (SEA)

You will most likely have to rent a car. Do not get a Jeep or something dumb like that; just get the cheapest thing, unless you are carpooling, then get a van or something.

Travel Note

For those NOT staying at Wellspring

Here are your options for lodging: 1. Most value, least fun - Tacoma mid-range hotels 2. Most fun, most expensive - Seattle Area fancy hotels or AirBNBs 3. Best commute, probably expensive - Ashford WA AirBNBs 4. Most Unique, least showers - Camping in Mt. Rainier National Park. Get reservations early! Do NOT stay near Ashford, WA, unless you can find some sweet AirBNB or camp in Mt. Rainier National Park. The lodging in the area sucks or is expensive. It would be best value to stay at some mid-range hotel in Tacoma and drive in. Highly recommend carpooling regardless of what you choose! Remember, AirBNBs are typically MORE expensive than hotels in total. They are cheaper PER PERSON. If you are a large group, AirBNB may be right for you and could be cool. High risk; high reward. Otherwise, hotels are a safe bet. As for food in the Ashford area, again it sucks and is probably expensive for what you get. Recommend going to Tacoma, unless you want to splurge, then go to Seattle. For the Seattle area, this is a cool AirBNB we stayed at: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/plus/27706992?source_impression_id=p3_1668301512_qUfD2uylYjyIBYTs
