What should I know about the venue?

Answer

Leah's Answer: Wellspring Spa and Woodland Retreat is a rustic location tucked right next to Mt. Rainier National Park. Jacob's Answer: It's a cool foresty lodging property that sleeps 42 people and it is right next to Mt Rainier. No excuses not to go!

Where should I stay?

Answer

Leah's Answer: We have a number of spots available to stay at Wellspring Spa with us for the weekend but you are also welcome to stay elsewhere nearby. We've mentioned a few things to keep in mind on our travel page! Jacob's Answer: See the travel page

What should I do in the area?

Answer

Leah's Answer: There is so much to do--especially if you stay at Wellspring Spa where you have close access to the National Park. Or if you stay in Seattle--be sure to check out our recommendations for food! Jacob's Answer: Mt. Rainier, go hiking

What activities will there be?

Answer

Leah's Answer: We want our reception to reflect our playful and fun relationship so we plan on livening things up with some games and activities instead of dancing. We hope you'll enjoy it! Jacob's Answer: There will be a talent show and a trivia night. Prizes for both. Study hard

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Leah's Answer: The weather in western Washington can be a little unpredictable--even in the summer! We recommend that you come prepared for chilly mornings, rain, and warm afternoons. Jacob's Answer: google it day of

What is the parking like at the venue?

Answer

Leah's Answer: There is a parking lot at the venue but will not hold vehicles for all of the guests that we expect. If possible, we recommend carpooling with other guests. Jacob's Answer: decent, free

What is the dress code?

Answer

Leah's Answer: We just ask that you dress up a little! Dresses or pantsuits are best for women and khakis or slacks with a button-down shirt for men. Make sure that you are comfortable! Jacob's Answer: Business casual

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Leah's Answer: Children are absolutely welcome! This is a family-friendly wedding. Jacob's Answer: I am not responsible for your kids; why are you asking me?

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Leah's Answer: We will offer a moment of time for you to take pictures! Then we ask that you unplug for the rest of the ceremony. Jacob's Answer: I am not responsible for your phone; why are you asking me?

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Leah's Answer: Many of our guests don't drink so we won't be providing any alcohol. Jacob's Answer: No
