We’re getting married in Apalachicola, Florida, a small coastal town we chose for its relaxed pace and charm. The weekend is intended to be laid-back and communal, with time to explore town, enjoy great (sea)food, and spend quality time together in a beautiful setting. We're centering the weekend around our ceremony site, the Gibson Inn, a historic hotel with breezy wrap-around porches, in-house eateries, and common areas perfect for catching up & relaxing!

We met on Hinge in February 2024 (a classic modern day love story!!!), but unknowingly to us, our paths had crossed long before that. We went to the same college, studied the same major for several years, and even found ourselves at the same events without ever actually meeting. Our first date was simple and easy. It felt comfortable right away, and there wasn’t any of the usual awkwardness. We quickly realized how natural it was to be ourselves with each other, Jana winning Tyler over in spite of her bag lady sweater. In November 2025, Tyler proposed at Sweetwater Creek State Park in Georgia. It’s a place that’s meaningful to both of us, especially since he used to run there growing up and we’ve spent time there together since moving to Douglasville. We currently live in Douglasville, where we’ve been building a life together while also working on a family property in a more rural setting. We both enjoy being outdoors and spending time in nature, which has become an important part of our day-to-day life.
