Ethan Kopczynski is Lainey’s biological brother. James and Ethan have become close over the past seven years and enjoy traveling together to various locations such as Baldhead Island and Colombia! He also wishes he could best James in a popular game amongst the Kopczynski family, Quiplash!

Kerri and Lainey first met in High School. Lainey started a new school her freshman year of high school. Kerri was one of Lainey’s first friends in Goochland VA. They bonded over their love for Harry Potter and they have been close ever since!

Garrett Walker is a close friend of James and former neighbor for 20+ years. Garrett and James enjoyed outdoor activities together as children and continue to maintain their friendship to this day!

Chelsea and Lainey first met in high school, however, it wasn’t until their freshman year at Virginia Tech that they became close. They happened to get placed just three doors down from each other out of the 47 on-campus residence halls that Virginia Tech offers. Chelsea and Lainey have maintained a good friendship ever since!

Mark Clark is another close friend of James and used to be a former patron when James operated in the service industry. James has come to know Mark’s family over many years and continues to converse about sports with Mark and discuss rock collecting with his wife, Renee!

Natasha and Lainey first met their sophomore year at Virginia Tech. They chose to live together at random, however, they immediately clicked the first time they sat down and talked with each other. Their love of reality tv shows and fantasy books has only grown since then!

Justin Meadows is one of James’ longest standing friends. Justin additionally knew Lainey as they attended Goochland High School together. Justin and James originally met through a mutual friend that introduced them to Young Life.

Similar to the way that Lainey and Natasha met, Kasey was also a random roommate from sophomore year at Virginia Tech. Kasey, Natasha, Chelsea, and Lainey all shared an apartment together. Some of the best memories were made that year! Kasey and Lainey have been friends ever since!

Brett Griffith is the husband of Lainey’s cousin, Kayla. James and Brett became close friends upon the first time meeting each other. Brett and James often discuss sports and butt heads over the Liverpool-Arsenal rivalry in the English Premier League!

Brittany and Lainey first met at Virginia Tech through Kasey and Natasha. In recent years, they have become good friends and their friendship continues to grow with each reunion. Brittany’s personality is so contagious and it’s near impossible to not have a great time when you’re with her!

Omari Jones-Atkins is a close friend of James’ after meeting through a mutual friend. Omari and James lived on the same hallway in their apartment complex for several years and Omari wishes he could steal their cat, Murtagh, after sheltering him for my vacations while James and Lainey were away!

Sarah and Lainey first met when she started dating Lainey’s brother Ethan. Sarah has been so wonderful and kind to Lainey and her family! To top it all off, her singing voice is just as beautiful as she is!
