When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by April 30, 2025! We wished to get the invites out sooner, but due to life events, we had to delay sending out the invites. We appreciate your understanding!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes, James and I will be coordinating a bus service to take people to and from Chattanooga to Oakleaf Cottage. The bus will pick up guests from The Read House. Once at the venue, a shuttle will take guests to and from the parking lot up to the ceremony space. Pick up times are listed on the schedule!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is a parking lot available for those who choose to drive themselves to and from the venue. Parking is to the left of the gates. Do not drive past the gate. A shuttle will come pick up guests from the parking lot to the ceremony space and drive them back down when you need to leave.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
If you are driving yourself to the venue, please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony at the parking lot. A shuttle will take you up to the ceremony from there.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, the dress code for the rehearsal dinner is dressy casual and the dress code for the wedding is formal or black-tie optional.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love kids, we are asking that you find a sitter for the wedding. For liability reasons, the venue does not allow children on the premises. Children under three are exempt from this rule but are required to be under adult supervision through the whole event .

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes. Once the RSVP becomes open, there will be an option to list any food allergies that you have. We will coordinate with the caterers to make sure that there is food that you can eat. The food will be buffet style. If you feel unsure about certain choices, please ask one of the servers for assistance.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes, there will be an open bar but it will not be serving hard liquor. Dade County does not permit the sale of hard liquor. Please refrain from bringing your own liquor to the event. Failure to comply to county regulations could result in large fines for the venue and the bride and groom.

Plus one’s will be reserved for spouses and those who are in long term relationships. Thank you for your understanding!
