Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP for our wedding celebrations as soon as you can and, at the latest, by 30 April 2026 - please note that we will not be sending any reminders. If you have not RSVP’d by this date we will assume that you are unable to attend. Please refer to our RSVP page where you can RSVP for each event.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Caswell House is easily accessible via the A40. Please use the postcode OX18 3NJ or search "Caswell House" via Google Maps which will bring you directly to Caswell House - there is plenty of parking at the premises.

What time should I arrive for the welcome event (Friday 17 July)?

Answer

Please arrive at Caswell House between 6pm and 7pm. If you would like to join, but will not be able to attend until later in the evening, please let us know - although, please note that we cannot guarantee that food will still be available, but we can promise you a couple of drinks!

What time should I arrive for the Wedding Ceremony (Saturday 18 July)?

Answer

Please arrive at Caswell House between 1:00pm and 1:45pm - this will give you plenty of time to get settled and enjoy the welcome drinks and music before the ceremony starts at 2pm.

Answer

Can I take photos?

Answer

We would love for our guests to be fully present when we say “I do”, during the ceremony we ask for no phones or cameras and to simply enjoy the moment. You can however take as many photos as you like for the rest of the celebrations, we just ask that you do not share any photos of us (AKA the bride and groom) on social media until we have the chance to do so. Please feel free to use the hashtag #thecovingtons2026 - this way we can see all your photos the next day.

What if I have dietary requirements?

Answer

When you RSVP for the wedding, you will be asked if there are any dietary requirements that we should be aware of. Please let us know which member of your party has these requirements and we will ensure that there are suitable options for them (both at the welcome party and throughout our wedding day).

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitations. If you have received a plus one then they will be on your official invite.

Are our kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we have decided to have our wedding as an adult-only event. We encourage you to use this weekend as a “romantic getaway” and let your hair down!

We are extremely grateful to everyone making the effort to celebrate with us and having you with us on the day is truly all we could ask for. If you would like to give a gift, we are currently planning our honeymoon (to New Zealand) and would be delighted with any contribution towards that, though please know your presence is more than enough.
