Jackie's best friend in the whole wide world! Jackie and Annie first bonded over their lousy clarinet playing in middle school. They moved on together through dance team in high school and even went to UVM together where they were roommates for many years. Jackie and Annie are often mistaken for sisters due to their blonde-ish hair and ability to communicate via telepathy. Eli had to pass the "Annie test" early on in Jackie and Eli's relationship - she didn't hesitate to grill him with questions to ensure he was fit for her partner in crime. Luckily, Eli passed the test and Annie and Eli grew to be best buddies as well! Jackie and Eli eventually adopted Annie as their "child" and she lived in their apartment in Medford for a year and a half.
Jesse Bragg

Also known as Pastry, Uncle Jesse, Daddy, or Shiny Red Drunk Boy with Aviator Glasses, Jesse has the great fortune of being Eli's friend who looks the most like him. One could say that Jesse has been following Eli through life, from Elementary and High School in Harvard, to UVM, to the VT Democratic Party, to living and working in Boston. Some of their common interests include: Beach chair calisthenics, Spinning classes, Shopping at J crew, Radiohead Road trips and Dancing with friends. But the one thing of all that truly cemented their bond, is their love for Phish, and generally everything heady. While their taste in music and fashion has expanded and evolved they will never lose their appreciation of a good light show...
Chrystal Arnold

Chrystal is Jackie's older sister. Chrystal forged a path for Jackie to follow through her youth, and is probably the only other person on earth (besides maybe Jackie's mom) who has felt equally amused and mortified by their Dad's dry humor. Chrystal is an avid runner. Somehow she manages to find time to hit the pavement when she's not busy building and designing her new house, or managing her 11 year old son’s bourgeoning athletic career in Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, and Football. Chrystal and her husband Gary live in Rutland, Vermont with their son Sam and adorable golden retriever, Bruin!
Tim Holmes

One could call Tim a triple threat, because when he's not officiating weddings he is either planning weddings or attending weddings. Tim and Eli met Sophomore year at UVM. They were instant friends. And why not? They both love Star Wars, handmade hemp necklaces, playing tennis, listening to and collecting vinyl records, live music, and buffalo chicken pizza. They've remained best friends over the years and have added to the list: playing Settlers of Catan, making sandwiches, drinking polar seltzer, eating Eggplant parm, and talking about clams, ham, and lamb. Generally speaking, Tim is a rational and levelheaded friend, but to this day he refuses to download Spotify, mostly out of spite.
Emily Nichols

Emily is Eli's favorite big sister and has been Eli's guiding light through life. From Ace of Base and Beach Boys cassette tapes, Birkenstocks and Phish festivals, pretending to be an adult in Burlington, to becoming an actual adult in Boston, Emily has introduced and taught Eli about so many things that shaped him into the man we all know and love. Much like grandmothers around the world, Emily has the uncanny ability to make you feel like you're the coolest person she's ever met! Don't tell her, but she's actually pretty darn cool. The third of his name. The brewer of brews. The monger of cheeses. Water Sommelier. Skier Extraordinaire. Founder of the Bromfield Gentlemen's Club. Mark Hamill's stunt double. Three time consecutive winner of the "Eli's Coolest brother-in-law Award" Carlton Edmund Nichols III: is training to be the next: Most interesting man in the World! Tripp grew up skiing at Sugarbush and his love for the Mad River valley is contagious. Currently, Tripp enjoys living in beautiful Swampscott Massachusetts as a professional Instagram husband. FUN FACT: Tripp and Emily (his wife, Eli's sister) were the first to tell Eli and Jackie about Lareau Farm.
Shaina Druy

Shaina and Jackie met the very first day of freshman year at UVM. Jackie spotted Shaina in line at the Delehanty Deck and decided that they would be friends forever. Shaina and Jackie bonded over their love for fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and Dominos Pizza delivery in the early years - moving on to their shared obsession with Sweetgreen and fancy workout classes more recently. Jackie (and Annie) taught Shaina everything she knows about popular culture. To this day - Shaina has still never seen the movie the Jungle Book.
Josh Biermann

Admiral Joshua John Biermann is a true renaissance man hailing from the great state of Maine. If you need someone to sail you to a far away land, rebuild your '76 Volkswagon Bus, build you a house, brew you a beer, explain to you why Pluto is no longer considered a planet, scream at you in German, all while frantically pacing back and forth quoting The Big Lebowski - then Josh is your man. Somehow, Josh manages to find time to do all these activities while attending Law School and raising his blond curly haired clone Luke, with his lovely wife Marly in Portland, ME.
Hannah Weisman

Hannah and Jackie met while working together at Hungry Mother - and still work together to this day! Hannah and Jackie are often mistaken to be the same person - both physically and mentally. They enjoy sending each other countless instagram memes, drinking rosé on roof decks, and wearing matching lipstick whenever possible. Along with their friend Linden, they make up the "Lipstick Triplets!" They visit Provincetown every year and take the town with their white pants and rompers. Hannah also supplies Jackie with all of her clothes.
Michael Epstein

Doctor Patches McMichael Sullivan Epstein and Eli have been friends since middle school. If we were to give out groomsmen superlatives, Mike would win the following: Best Smile, Most likely to be on Jeopardy, Best looking at age 16, Most likely to wear scrubs, Most likely to make Eli weep from laughter without saying a single word, and Most likely to drink Captain Morgans with diet coke while listening to Phish in their parents basement. Mike, with his girlfriend Beth, recently moved to Chinle Arizona to practice pediatric medicine on a Navajo Reservation.
Katie Jennings

Katie and Jackie first met in High School - but their relationship truly blossomed at UVM. Jackie and Katie both studied Nutrition so they had many of the same classes. In addition to spending countless hours writing study guides together in Dana Medical Library - Katie and Jackie also worked together for two years at the Skinny Pancake. Katie was the aforementioned Katie who informed Jackie that she even met Eli! Some might say she's the only reason they are together today...Michael Wooten would certainly disagree. Katie, her husband Lance and their crazy dog Bristol live in Winooski VT and they are expecting a baby girl in March! You can find them most weekends giving tours of Lake Champlain on their new pontoon boat.

Eli met Jared on their first day at North Bennet Street School. At first Eli was quite intimidated by this tall and mysterious skinny jean wearing, messenger bag toting, hipster-carpenter from Brooklyn. But after a few lunch break chats over an Italian sub or three, Eli soon realized that he was just another bro from central mass with a deep appreciation for juvenile jokes and a fervent fascination for bugs. In an effort to keep Jared as a staple in his life, Eli decided that Jared and his friend Allison should get married. He even performed the ceremony last October in Georgia!
Brittany Relyea

Brittany is one of Jackie's best friends from High School. Brittany and Jackie have spent many a night driving around in one of their "subs" - checking out the scene at the local Mobil, driving around the lake, and on occasion passing by certain un-named people's houses to see if they were home. Living only a few miles from each other - Jackie spent many a night and weekend in Brittany's room - watching The OC and proofreading each others AIM convos.
Dana Kear

Dana is one of Jackie's best friends from High School. Along with Brittany and Annie - they used to enjoy countless hours of driving around in Dana's silver Plymouth Neon "The NeNe" drinking Redbull and eating Smorz Poptarts. It was a wild time. Dana is also most known for her iconic taste in music - she made Jackie some of the best mix CD's EVER. You can now find Dana with her husband Tucker running after their energetic son, Smith throughout Saratoga NY. Baby Kear number 2 is expected to arrive in May!
