FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - but we aren't too picky. We want you to be ready to DANCE and to be dressed for the weather. The term we are using to describe the recommended attire is "cocktail" - please adhere to this as firmly or as loosely as you see fit.

Question

Do you have a hashtag?

Answer

Yes! #RakCityHitched

Question

The wedding is at a flatbread place, are we having pizza for dinner?

Answer

YES! (get excited)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only RSVP for the names of the guests included on your invitation. We have thoughtfully chosen everyone who is invited to this event and space is EXTREMELY limited. Turns out - we both have very large families and lots of wonderful friends. Please reach out to us directly with questions.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This one is tough for us, because we know so many of our loved ones have children that we adore! However, we're asking that kids stay home with the sitter. It's going to be a boistrous and lively party, and we'd really love everyone to be able to enjoy it to the fullest. That said, if you're traveling with kids, we'd love for them to come to the welcome party and the goodbye brunch!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! If you navigate to the "Registry" tab of our website you'll see we're registered through Zola. Zola offers price matching, so if you find an item from our registry somewhere for a better price - you can email them and they will match the lower price.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes - check out the "Travel & Places to Stay" tab of our website for general lodging and travel information. We recommend staying in the Waitsfield/Warren area and booking as soon as possible.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes - American Flatbread (our caterers) are happy to work with us and our guests to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please note your dietary restrictions when RSVPing.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes - there is ample parking on the grassy area next to the big red barn. Before choosing to drive, please check our website (or with us directly) to see if our shuttle bus can accommodate you. We want everyone to let loose and enjoy themselves without having to worry about getting home safely!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes - shuttles will be provided for guests staying locally at the Featherbed Inn, The White Horse Inn, Sugarbush Resort and The Waitsfield Inn. All guests staying in local rental properties are welcome to join the shuttle bus at any one of these four stops that is most convenient for you.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes - there will be a rehearsal dinner, welcome party and goodbye brunch in addition to the ceremony and reception. Please see the "Schedule" tab of our website for specifics. We encourage guests to participate in our "wedding weekend" and attend the additional festivities! All guests are invited to the welcome party and farewell brunch - the rehearsal dinner is invitation only.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We'll be sending out formal invitations in early June. Please RSVP as soon as possible! August 22nd is the absolute deadline.
