The cabin on the Metolius River is a special meeting place for Julia's family and now for Jack as well.

Jack's first time up Black Butte in 2018 alongside Julia and Alex. Alex would propose to Carolyn days after this, likely after receiving life-changing advice from his future sister and brother-in-law.

We spent a number of Sunday dinners in college at Julia's Uncle John and Aunt Marilyn's house. We hope to always have a home with ample games and "conversation spaces" in their memory.

Jack attended a number of Hogan birthday dinners in Palo Alto, another perk of going to school in Santa Clara. At these dinners, everyone was welcomed as family, including the golden retrievers.

Julia's last collegiate track meet at Occidental College! Due to flight delays, she arrived at the track with 10 minutes to spare before her race. Cameron and Jack arrived with ample time to cheer.

Our first time hiking Tumalo Mountain after Julia moved to Bend in the summer of 2019. One of our favorite local hikes, we climbed Tumalo on the day we got engaged.

Jack proposed at the Headwaters of the Metolius River. A broken arm didn't stop him from carrying out a very thoughtful plan that concluded with him kneeling in the river.
