Maid of Honor

Natalie is my younger sister. Although there’s a 10-year age gap, we get along so well and have always been a big part of each other’s lives. Her positive energy is contagious and she’s able to light up whatever room she walks into. I may be biased but she’s an amazing singer. If you’re my friend on social media, you know just how proud I am of her. Life is so much better having her by my side and having our daily update calls/facetime sessions. She’s an amazing sister and friend and I can’t imagine my wedding without her standing by my side as my maid of honor.

Maria Miramontes

Matron of Honor

Maria is my bestie (we’ve used the term bestie for each other for so many years it feels weird to call her Maria). We’ve been friends for 20 years and met freshman year of high school and immediately clicked. So many memories flood my mind when I think of all the laughs and tears we’ve shared the last two decades. I will forever be grateful to have her and Josh, her husband, and their two beautiful kids, my godsons, in my life. Maria and I are two peas in a pod and we always say that we share half a brain. Reynald even tells us we apparently have our own language when we speak to each other. The wedding day wouldn’t be complete without her standing by my side as my matron of honor.

Marco is one of my best friends who I also met freshman year of high school (20 years ago). Marco, Maria and I became close friends senior year of high school when we sat next to each other and caused havoc in our history class. We named our trio ROB, which stands for Rice, Orange and Banana, a food from each of our respective countries - Philippines, Mexico and Guatemala (don’t cancel us). Any time I hang out with Marco my cheeks always hurt from laughing. He is such a bright light in my life and I’m so thankful to have him as one of my best friends and can’t wait to have him be a part of our wedding.

Sara Bakhtary

Sara is my bonus sister that I gained when my brother married her and added the amazing Bakhtarys to our family’s lives. She’s one of the most humble people I’ve ever met (she’s an accomplished Doctor and not once have I ever heard her brag) and has the best laugh you will ever hear. She’s been in my life now for 20 years and we’ve shared so many fun memories and have had the privilege of traveling together (this won’t be our first time in Mexico together). So excited to have her be a part of my wedding day and can’t wait to have Caipirinhas (our favorite drink) on the beach together again!

Kelly Roso

Kelly is my childhood friend of 22 years and is one of the best people I know. When her, Anas (her husband), Reynald and I hang out, it's nothing but laughter. I am so grateful for Kelly and Anas and all the memories we've shared together. Plus our dogs are also getting married. Kelly is one of those friends that is always down for anything and has your back no matter what. I'm honored to have her standing by my side as my bridesmaid.

Giovanni Dubois

Giovanni is my (Ivette's) oldest brother and my mentor in life. He taught me my ABCs and was my father figure growing up. I've always known Giovanni would officiate my wedding, even before I met Reynald. We are honored to have him officiate our wedding and know he'll have everyone crying and laughing.
