Julia and Isaac debated about who would get Devin on their side for a wedding party long before they were ever engaged, but Julia clearly won that battle. He's a speedy triathlete, and king at eating the any ice cream Julia leaves in the freezer for over 2 hours.

Lawyer in the making, Allie's claim to fame is teaching a young Julia how to mountain bike. Specifically, she stood at the top of a switchback in Tamarancho and did not move until Julia made it a dozen times. Since then, she's been up for any and all of Julia's questionable adventure ideas.

Julia's co-coach the past four seasons for the local high school mountain bike team. The team director infamously introduced Julia to Carrie with the stipulation of "... I can separate you if Carrie is too stubborn for you to coach with". Little did our team director know that we would be two peas in a pod.

Avila was Julia's prize for royally blowing up her race at Ironman 70.3 Worlds in 2019. Not sure that picking up a puppy after a redeye from France, straight to coaching a high school bike race, then to the shelter to pick her up all on the same day (sans sleep) was a good idea, but couldn't imagine life without her.
