Maid of Honor
Mary and Devin first met freshman year at American University and spent the next 3 years as roommates and best friends. Mary always offered her shoulder and was a steadfast support during Hunter and Devin's long-distance years... she helped Hunter execute flower deliveries, birthday presents and the like. Mary will turn any stranger into a lifelong friend within minutes, will likely ask you what your last meal on Earth would be, and has exquisite taste. She is my favorite goofball, and I can guarantee she will leave you rolling on the floor with laughter.
Best Man
Orion is the Best Man and Hunter's older brother. Orion has known the Groom his entire life. Orion is aware that we all grow old. He is also a social distancing champion.
Bridesmaid
Abby and Devin first met in Alaska climbing a mountain in Arctic Valley, quickly bonding over both having partners who prefer hunting to just about everything else (except maybe their gals). In a later conversation, they would discover Abby attended a college program at Ndakinna where Hunter once was a wilderness camp counselor. Abby makes amazing Sourdough, is one of the sweetest souls, and effortlessly true to herself. She is known to rock chic fits and has the best decorated house I've seen in my 20's.
Groomsman
Max met Hunter in the 8th Grade after moving to Saratoga Springs. Max and Hunter participated in many activities during their school years including soccer, historical reenactment, and fiddle club. Max has accompanied Devin and Hunter on epic journeys to Rocky Mountain National Park and Gates of the Arctic National Park, AK. They have many more adventures saved for the future. Max is a phenomenal glassblower whose ornaments have a home on the Choy Christmas tree. He also has amazing hair.
Bridesmaid
Xinghua became Devin's 1st friend in Alaska and the friendship quickly blossomed into daily walks talking about all things work, life, and adventure. Xinghua cares deeply about the people in her life, spoils her golden doodle, Fresca, and somehow has a solution to everything. Got a flat tire? She's there with a pump. She always has the coolest gadgets and makes even the biggest gearhead look lame. Be sure to ask about her travels... she has some neat tales to tell about a walk along the Camino, skiing in the Alps, and being raised in Alaska.
Groomsman
Konstantinos "KT" Tsitos met Hunter in Kindergarten at St. Clement's Elementary. This was the same year KT brought in a splinter from his body for "show and tell." KT and Hunter remained friends and spent years playing soccer together, carpooling to school, eating D'Andreas Pizza and leading in student government. KT's high school cars, "Krystal 1.0" and "Krystal 2.0" were the source of daily Fetty Wap and Chance the Rapper bops. KT is most excited to perform traditional Greek dancing during the wedding reception.
Bridesmaid
Sydney is another tried and true Alaskan friend of Devin's. After discovering that Sydney was a former baller, Devin knew she could be trusted. The two quickly grew close while training for the Alaska Mayor's Marathon in 2025... bonding through the blood, sweat, and tears talking all things life and love. Sydney will cry the minute you start crying, looks beautiful always, and is a badass engineer. Her latest obsession is her new black lab puppy, Obi so be sure to ask her to show you a photo of his handsomeness.
Groomsman
Wes and Hunter met during Cadet Basic Training, "Beast Barracks", at West Point when they were both required to sing the 5th stanza of the national anthem from memory. Wes and Hunter spent four years in the same cadet company, H-2 "Happy as Hell". They went on to live together at Fort Benning, GA and serve in the Infantry. Wes is a proud advocate of beef, man purses and runs a stellar Goodreads account.
Bridesmaid
Halley, aka the future sister-in-law. Halley and Devin go wayyy back to when Devin first started visiting the Choy residence in high school. Whenever together, they enjoy going to yoga, playing board games, and engaging in typical girl chat about things that Hunter would never understand. Halley really has become the sister Devin never had. Halley is your go to person about all the latest goings on in Saratoga and a socialite unmatched by others.
Groomsman
"Matty Ice" Anderson met Hunter during Cadet Basic Training, "Beast Barracks" at West Point. The entire platoon thought Matt looked like "Sid" from Toy Story. While in the same cadet company, Hunter and Matt roomed together for three of four years. The two also served on the H-2 Sandhurst Team where Matt was notorious for wearing unbroken in boots on ruck marches. Matt is also legendary for changing his academic major 18 times and squatting 600 lbs in full dress uniform. He is known as a kind and reliable friend. Matt is a fan of corn on the cob gifts.
Flower Girl
Lyra is Hunter's niece and a really cool person. Born on July 1st, 2024 Lyra has been busy traveling the world, collecting Pokemon cards, and learning Mandarin Chinese. She is super excited to carry flowers for Uncle Hunter and Auntie Devin's Ceremony alongside her two big cousins, Cannelle and Jasmine.
Groomsman
Christian is Hunter's future brother-in-law. Hunter has known Christian over half his life. Along with Devin, the two enjoy hiking the Adirondack High Peaks, backpacking and skiing. Christian joined Devin and Hunter on an epic visit to Alaska in 2025. Christian prefers his nickname "Christiano Ronaldo."
Flower Girl
Jasmine (3) and Cannelle (4) are the daughters of Hunter's first cousins, Angie and Guillame Visolvy. Hailing from Staten Island, NY, Jasmine and Cannelle love visiting with their Choy-Foo Cousins in NYC and Upstate NY. Both are involved in dance lessons and enjoy playing outside with their immediate cousins Jerry Jr. and Luca Hanley. They are excited to cheer on Auntie Devin and Cousin Hunter alongside co-flower girl and cousin Lyra Choy.
