For those wishing to visit New York City there are a multitude of options to facilitate a side trip to the Big Apple. Rent a car and explore or take the scenic train through the Hudson River Valley.

NYC to Saratoga Springs by Rail
Amtrak offers travel by rail from Penn Station to Saratoga Springs, NY. The train station in West Side, Saratoga Springs is a short uber ride to most hotels and downtown. Albany-Rensselaer station is about 45 minutes from Saratoga too. Devin and Hunter recommend considering the flexibility of a rental car for seeing the surrounding area.
