To finalize our headcount with our vendors and venue, we kindly request your RSVP no later than June 5 2024. If you RSVP through our website we will let you know how many seats we have anticipated reserving for you/your family. We need to know if you would like to opt-in to a vegetarian meal, if you prefer a gluten-free/vegan dessert, if you would like to ride the shuttle we have booked, and if you will be camping with us.
Our wedding is on the Friday of a holiday weekend, and we anticipate there will be several events in the surrounding areas for the Independence Day celebration. Therefore, if you can, we recommend booking travel and accommodations as soon as you know you will be able to come, as hotels and vacation rentals are likely to get filled the closer the date is.
Our celebration will be at a creekside park-like setting. Garden party attire is encouraged!

We have a shuttle that will transport guests to the venue from the Aloft hotel in Hillsboro (please see “Travel and Lodging” for address and information on hotel). You do not need to be a guest at the hotel to take our shuttle - there is public parking adjacent to the hotel for non-hotel guests to park and ride. The shuttle departing for the venue will leave at 3:30 pm. The return shuttle to the Aloft will depart the venue at 10pm when the reception ends. If you anticipate needing to leave the venue earlier in the evening, please consider driving yourself to the venue or carpooling with like-minded guests. We request you notify us if you plan to take the shuttle on your RSVP so that we can make sure we have enough room on the vehicle we have booked - if you don’t let us know ahead of time, there may or may not be room for you on the bus! There is parking onsite at the venue, but keep in mind that it is down a winding country road into a canyon, and if you are not used to navigating the area, carpooling or taking an available shuttle is recommended (ESPECIALLY if you will be enjoying libations!). Please note that all cars must be removed from the parking lot at Horning’s Hideout by 9am on Saturday morning (July 6).
If you know Hilary and Kaycee, you know that we love to camp! So of course having the option to sleep under the stars with our loved ones was a big draw to our venue choice. There is a large group site that will be reserved just for our event. It can accomodate vans, RVs, and of course tents. This is a "dry camping" site, so there are no hookups. There will be access to restrooms with running water at all times.
We will have some vegetarian/vegan options as well as meat, but we cannot accommodate special requests for dinner. Gluten free items will be marked at the serving station. We will have a gluten free/vegan dessert option for those who request it on their RSVP.
Please plan to arrive at the venue between 4 and 4:30pm. If you are have notified us that you are taking the shuttle from the Aloft hotel to the venue, please plan to be at the hotel between 3:15-3:30 for a prompt 3:30 departure.
