This summer, we are very excited to have the biggest and most fabulous party of our lives to celebrate our marriage with our most beloved humans. In May of 2023, while staying in a cabin near Mount Adams in Washington, Kaycee popped the question to Hilary over a special bottle of wine and a gourmet meal that Hilary had prepared in the tiny kitchen. It was a magical evening filled with smiles, discussions about the future, and lots of stargazing and campfire cuddles. We both knew we wanted to celebrate our love with our best friends and family, and talked about the kind of wedding we wanted to have. A few months later, we realized that Kaycee would be losing his health insurance coverage and the best option would be for us to get legally married (earlier than we had hoped, as we were in the very early stages of planning this fabulous event) so that he would be guaranteed to continue to have affordable health care. We had to make a hasty decision! So, on September 9, 2023, we had a very intimate and lovely ceremony in our backyard to make our union official...but we knew all along we still wanted to follow through with the "wedding" we had originally planned for. And here we are! Married life has been great so far, and we are looking to share our love and excitement with all of you this summer!
