How easy is it to communicate/get around if you don't speak French?

Answer

Not to worry- most people in France speak English as well. French people do love when foreigners put in a little effort when conversing/asking for help. What is the best way to travel around the city?

Answer

There are multiple options to get around Bordeaux. There is a public tram available that runs through the city (purchase tickets via an app- "Witick"). Uber and a rideshare app called "Bolt" are also available.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our ceremony will be an adults only celebration. We understand that many of our guests are traveling and may choose to have family vacations before/after the events. Please feel free to reach out to us directly to discuss babysitting options and possible logistics for the pool party/reception/post-wedding brunch.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code for the wedding events are as follows: Pool party- Swimsuits and casual summer attire. There will be tennis courts available and other yard games to play so please plan accordingly. Changing rooms available at the Chateau. Wedding day- Cocktail Attire. Please dress in your best cocktail dress or suit! Cocktail attire is "a balance between formal and casual-elegant attire". Are phones allowed at the ceremony?

Answer

No. We would like an unplugged ceremony and "phone free" pictures from our own photographer and videographer.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We are working with our catering vendor to provide food options that accommodate for the following dietary needs: Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free. We will gather food restrictions on RSVPs and work with individuals accordingly.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding events?

Answer

Yes. We are working on full shuttle logistics and will share with our guests as they are finalized. We are planning to pick up guests in one central downtown location and one location closer to the Chateau.
