Borgo Di Castelvecchio

The entire wedding weekend will all take place at the Borgo di Castelvecchio in Tuscany. Directly translating to Village of the Old Castle, the farmhouses that comprise the Borgo and the main villa dates back to the times of the Etruscans, and throughout the Middle Ages, it was the site of many battles between feudal lords, the Republic of Siena, Orvieto, and Florence. The Borgo has been reserved, in its entirety, on Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th. All guests have rooms available, at no cost to them, on both Friday and Saturday. Check in to Borgo di Castelvecchio is available between 3:00-9:00 pm on Friday, June 5th. There is a free private outdoor parking area for those who will be arriving via car. There will be complimentary breakfast each morning from 8:00-10:30am. On Sunday, June 7th, breakfast will be from 9:00-11:30am. Check out is from 8:00am - 3:00pm on Sunday, June 7th.

Flight

Travel to Borgo Di Castelvecchio

We recommend flying into Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence or Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome. Borgo di Castelvecchio is located 2 hours from Florence, and 2.5 hours from Rome. Guests can get to the Borgo by renting a car, but for those who signed up, we will also be providing a shuttle to the Borgo at 12:30 pm on Friday, June 5th from Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence, and at 12:00pm from Leonardo Da Vinci Airport in Rome. For those who signed up for a return shuttle from the Borgo on Sunday, June 7th, you will receive that information individually soon.
