One day in the winter of 2016, Harrison shared a job posting for an intern on the Hamilton College networking site. A few months later, he thought the quiet communications intern with a desk awkwardly squished between the office kitchen and front door was the unfriendliest person he ever met. What he didn’t know is that Rachel was immediately smitten and tongue tied for weeks, struggling to say more than “here’s the mail” when handing the day’s letters over at Harry’s desk. After a few happy hours and taking the same side in an office-wide argument about the caffeine content of decaf coffee, they decided to stay in touch when Rachel went back to school at the end of the summer, and the rest, as they say, is history.
