It's all happening!!

In order to fulfill our dream of quality time with family and dear friends, we are taking over the upper canyon of the Tierra Learning Center for the entire weekend. Our wedding is not just about us, it's also about all of you! In addition to celebrating our relationship and the life we’ve built together, we want to throw a party for our community - the people who have shaped us, and who have helped us arrive at this important milestone. FRIENDS: One of the reasons we love Tierra is that there are lodging options for friends (of the "millennial" variety) to stay onsite with us in cabins or bunks. Think: simple and cozy. Check out the "On-Site Cabins & Bunks" page for more details. FAMILY & FAMILY FRIENDS: There are lots of great options for hotels and rental homes nearby. Leavenworth (15 mins south) will charm some with its Bavarian theme and upscale options, but its crowds will intimidate others! Plain (20 mins north) is Leavenworth's opposite: peaceful and rural, but lacking as many amenities. Please note: this is the same weekend as Oktoberfest in Leavenworth, so no matter where you are staying, be sure to book your lodging as soon as possible! Tierra Learning Center is located about 15 minutes away from the town of Leavenworth in the Sunitsch Canyon - a beautiful wooded canyon in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The Retreat Center, where all our wedding festivities will take place, maintains its own space in the upper canyon while in the lower canyon Tierra is alive with a year-round nature-based preschool, an independent organic farm, production pottery studio, an active forestry department and a community that supports people of all abilities, including Tierra Village residents with developmental disabilities. We'll give you a hint... Kimye, Bradgelina, Speidi, Bennifer After we started dating our senior year at Whitman College, our good friend Brigitte called us collectively "Clam" (Claire + Cam) or when apart: "Clam on a half shell." It stuck and here we are almost 8 years later, still #happyasaclam.
