Question

What time should the wedding party arrive before the wedding?

Answer

You will be notified well in advanced if you are apart of the wedding party and what time your presence is requested to be at the course for pictures.

Question

Do you have a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

It's a wedding, so have fun & dress up a little. We would like for our guests to feel comfortable therefore we would like to avoid a white-tie or black-tie event and rather encourage a semi-formal, dressy-casual dress code. Just a heads-up, the ceremony will be taking place in a grassy area outdoors on the golf course. We are telling you this to ensure you wear the proper shoes to walk in. There will be dancing and games, and others as well as an outdoor wedding were there could be wind, rain, etc. so please wear appropriate clothing and be prepared for anything!

Question

Can I bring a date or additional guests?

Answer

If your invitation (which will be send out about 8 weeks prior to the wedding) says "and Guest", then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. We ask only those who the invitation is addressed to, to attend.

Question

How early should I arrive before the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive before 4:00 p.m when the wedding begins. Leave early enough to allow yourself time to park and to be escorted to your seat. To give you a better idea, 20-30 minutes early should be more than enough time. You don't want to make the walk of shame! ;)

Question

How important is it to RSVP?

Answer

Very important!! This will ensure the right amount of food is prepared and we are charged accordingly. Please RSVP no later than the end of the day on Saturday, May 4th, 2019.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If your presence is requested/required at Friday's rehearsal dinner or Sunday's brunch, we will send a separate invitation. Otherwise, for our out-of-towners, please visit our "Things to Do" tab for suggestions on how to enjoy Friday night and Sunday morning!

Question

Do I have to stay the whole time?

Answer

No... but the dance floor will not be the same without you! :)

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be a cash bar. Woodlawn Country Club is donating a bartender or two to serve drinks for the night so please remember to tip them. They have also been encouraged to card anyone they feel is not of age to protect themselves as well as Zachary and I!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The closest hotel to our venue is 10 miles away in Leroy, Illinois. Check out the "Travel & Places to Stay" tab for more information.

Question

Will dinner be served?

Answer

We are still working on the style and the menu but will ensure that everyone is served dinner as close to 6:00 p.m. as possible. Stay tuned for the dinner menu!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes, children are more than welcome to attend. There will be an option when you RSVP to choose a children's meal.
