San Diego Airport

San Diego Airport is the most convenient option and is located about 35 minutes south of Encinitas by car. It’s an easy Uber or Lyft ride away, or you can take the scenic Pacific Surfliner train directly from downtown San Diego to Encinitas (~1 hour and 15 minutes).

Moonlight Beach Motel

Just steps from the beach and minutes from our venues, Moonlight Beach Motel will be home base for the weekend. Most of the property is reserved for our families, so expect plenty of hangouts and easy access to all the festivities. When we’re not celebrating, this is where you’ll find everyone. John Wayne Airport

Located in Santa Ana, John Wayne is another option, especially if you are staying with Schulte family nearby. It’s about a 1-hour drive to Encinitas, and best accessed by rental car or by coordinating a ride with the Schultes' in Tustin!

Train

Pacific Surfliner

If you’re flying into San Diego and prefer not to rent a car, the Pacific Surfliner train is a beautiful way to get to Encinitas. You’ll board at Santa Fe Depot in downtown and ride north up the coast right into Encinitas Station, which is just a 5-minute walk from Moonlight Beach.
