63135 Celesta Street, Joshua Tree, CA 92252 The golden hour (cocktails) and the dinner party will take place at Celesta Ranch. It is about a 30 minute drive from the site of the ceremony, so please plan accordingly and give yourself some time to head there. In addition, the last two miles to Celesta Ranch is a dirt road so drive carefully or plan to bring a vehicle that can withstand a little off roading. Cellular service is a bit spotty around the area so we recommend that your print out your directions.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the Hidden Valley Picnic Area. When you arrive, please head straight and drive all the way to the bottom. The ceremony will take place towards the south side of the picnic area. Parking at the reception will also be available along the drive way of Celesta Ranch. When you enter Celesta Ranch, we recommend that guests drive all the way up to house and turn their car around for easy exit at the end of the dinner party.
It's the Desert!!! Feel free to get a little dreamy magical and otherworldly. Since both the ceremony and the dinner party will be held outdoors, dress for warm weather in the daytime but also for cool weather in the evening. As for footwear, since the ceremony will be in a relatively sandy and rocky area in the park, wear close-toed shoes or boots that you don't mind getting a little desert dust on.
Yes, there is a one-time $30 entrance fee per car to enter Joshua Tree National Park. Keep your receipt as you can use it to re-enter the park as many times as you like for 1 week. Because of that, we encourage guests to carpool together to reduce the number of people that have to pay the entrance fee.
If you plan on staying at an Airbnb or similar, we recommend booking as soon as possible as October is becoming a popular month for desert weddings.
We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible we can provide an accurate head count to our caterers and other vendors.
