It's the Desert: Feel free to get a little dreamy magical and otherworldly. Make Sure You Can Walk in the Sand: The ceremony will be taking place in a relatively sandy and rocky area so wear close-toed shoes or boots. Bring Something Warm: Joshua Tree has a tendency to get pretty cold and windy at night during the fall so be sure to have an extra layer on hand to keep you warm when the sun goes down. Arrival Time: Hidden Valley Picnic area is about a 20 minute drive from the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, so please plan accordingly and plan to arrive by 3:15 pm as parking is limited. Once you arrive, you should head to the very end of the parking lot where an usher will be there to greet and direct you to the ceremony location.
