We got married here! Check our their restaurant & cafe! We assume the rooftop bar is only for hotel guests, but maybe if you tell them Hannah & Andrew's 2020 micro wedding story, they will let you go up. It's in walking distance of Omni Shoreham.
Urban Dwell
We love shopping here for gifts. Great place to get a cool souvenir with authentic DC flair. Down the block from Perry's. It's in walking distance of Omni Shoreham.
Perry's
We enjoy sushi here almost every Valentine's Day. Their rooftop is beautiful! Up the street from Urban Dwell. It's in walking distance of Omni Shoreham.
Bar Charley
Hannah's favorite bar! She once tried having a birthday bar crawl on this block to enjoy their Catalan Fries, but the whole block was out of power that night. She asked every nearby bar if they had a similar french fry dish, and it was a silly night. It's about a mile walk Omni Shoreham.
Roofer's Union
Hannah worked here as a hostess one summer and shared many meals here with Andrew, family and friends. We highly recommend going to the roof for fun drinks and food. We love the Fried Chicken Thigh Sandwich. It's in walking distance of Omni Shoreham, and the roof top requires taking the stairs to the third floor.

Portrait Gallery
Hannah's favorite museum in the city! As with all Smithsonian museums, it's free! And it's actually open! To reserve a timed ticket, click "View" below. To get to the Portrait Gallery is a straight foward metro train ride from Woodley Park station to Gallery Place Chinatown station. The National Mall is also within walking distance of this metro station.
Theodore Roosevelt Island
Theodore Roosevelt Island is one of our favorite parks! It's in an isolated spot, so we recommend carpool/ uber/ lyft to get there.
Smithsonian National Zoological Park
Free awesome zoo! Hannah loves the porcupine in the Small Mammals House, Andrew loves the sea lions on the American Trail. Wear your walking shoes, the zoo is located on a hill. It's in walking distance of Omni Shoreham. To reserve a timed ticket, click "View" below.

Andrew's first post college job! Great place to shop for athletic wear. They also sell cool DC shirts.
Ambar
One of our favorite local restaurants. Come with a big appetite!
Texas Jack
Our favorite BBQ restaurant in the DC area. Be sure to get the brisket nachos.
Dejan Jewelry Studio and the Torpedo Factory
Where our wedding bands were made! The Torpedo Factory is also an excellent place to wander around and browse/ shop for local crafts. We highly recommend the nearby Alexandria historical walking tour!
Air and Space Museum
Where Andrew and Hannah first met. They worked in the How Things Fly gallery together, and frequently flirted in the Pioneers of Flight gallery. Please note the museum is currently still closed due to covid, and has yet to announce a reopening date. It is also going under a renovation.
