1st Anniversary Picnic

Join us for a family-friendly anniversary picnic with catered food, music, games, and fun! This will be the main event of the weekend to celebrate with friends and family. Food, entertainment, and non-alcoholic beverages provided. There will be some vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dining options available. For a specific menu, reach out to Hannah & Andrew. As the Picnic is in Arlington, we have decides to provide a bus for our guests! There will be free shuttle service from the Omni Shoreham Hotel to Bluemont Park and back. The shuttle will depart the Omni Shoreham Hotel at 11:30 am and will depart from Bluemont Park at 4:00 pm. Party attendees staying at Omni are encouraged to take the shuttle.
Pool Party

After the picnic, hotel guests can join us for a pool party at the Omni Shoreham's luxurious pool! An open bar with food and alcoholic beverages will be available. Please note, due to hotel rules, only Omni hotel guests are permitted to attend the pool party.

Fireworks

We figured we might as well take our beloved guests to the most special place for DC fireworks viewing: The National Mall! On the evening of July 4th, we will take guests on the metro train to the National Mall! If you can, please download the SmarTrip app to use mobile pay for the train. It is a straightforward metro ride from the hotel to the National Mall. Guests are encouraged to take the metro from Woodley Park south two stops to Farragut North. To get back from fireworks, expect long delays and lines. Be prepared for the possibility of walking back to the hotel, as there may be gridlock after fireworks. Although seeing the fireworks from the National Mall is super cool, it may not be for everyone. For those of you who are not interested in traveling to the National Mall, the hotel offers a serene outdoor space, and there are probably TVs at the hotel bar playing the show. We do not expect to have a view of the fireworks from the hotel grounds.
