Ocean Crest is the only oceanfront motel on Oak Island and with a swimming pool. It's not fancy but can't beat the view. Situated next to Island Way Restaurant and Bar (also oceanfront). RATES: - $145-$160 Oceanfront (ground level to the beach with shared walking path) - $125-140 Oceanview (2nd floor) - $115-$130 Standard (likely a view of the parking lot or side streets)

We blocked all 8 villas, located across the street from Oak Island Beach. Each Villa has its own beachy them, 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom with a kitchen (think 1970s) and mini-deck. There is a pool as well - best of both worlds, beach and pool! It's an older property but charming! RATE: $150/night + linen fees.
