Duomo: Initially constructed in 1436 it is located in the center of the old city, the Duomo stands out for miles and creates an imposing sight amongst the other medieval buildings. Galleria dell'Accademia: Here you will find Michelangelo's David sculpture and it is really a sight to see. Baboli Gardens: These gardens are beautiful and some of the largest in Florence, for sure a must-see if you are looking for some nature!

Pizza: Gustapizza is an incredibly popular spot but it is hard to go wrong anywhere in Italy! Sandwich: Grab an insanely good sandwich at Da' Vinattieri or the very popular All'Antico Vinaio . . . go hungry! Wine: Be on the lookout for the "Little Doors of Paradise" these wine doors have been in use since the 1600s and some still operate today like at Osteria delle Brache!
