Hike: Black Balsam Knob

Biscuit Head makes the most AMAZING, "size of your head" biscuits to pair with homemade jams or support a delicious breakfast sandwich. There are a couple locations so you can stop by no matter where you are staying!
Brewery: Burial Beer Co.
We love this Brewery! They make great beers in every style and have an awesome patio with lots of different areas and seating.
Cocktail Bar: Antidote at Chemist Spirits
Classy/cool vibe with delicious gin-based cocktails. Enough said.
Coffee: Odd's Cafe
We are usually take our coffee black but this place has amazing and unique flavored lattes. Studying or working during our wedding weekend...gosh we hope not but if so, this is the place to do it.
Sweets: Hole Doughnuts
We stopped by this popular doughnut shop on drive back to Chicago. Simple but sooooooo good. It was probably a good thing we tried this place on the last day of our trip or we would have eaten a lot of doughnuts that week...
Casual Meal: White Duck Taco Shop
It'll be really difficult to choose which taco you want here. With a ton of unique combos, and huge portions, this is a must-visit if you are hungry. There are a couple locations but we prefer the one on Riverside Drive so you can enjoy lunch by the French Broad River.
Fancy Meal: Bouchon
We spent our anniversary dinner at this romantic restaurant and returned again on a separate trip. French food paired with great wine makes for a fantastic evening.
Explore the River Arts District
The River Arts District is the creative hub of Asheville. Take a stroll along the mural covered warehouses, stop in an art gallery or shop, and grab some grub at one of the great dining options.
Bar Hop through West Asheville
West Asheville is a trendy part of the city with a ton of fun, laid back bars. Some of our favorites include The Whale (great craft beer and patio), Universal Joint (casual, good food), and Westville Pub (beloved sports bar with pool tables and open late)
Visit the Biltmore
The Biltmore is America's largest home and one of Asheville's most popular tourist attractions. Tickets are required to tour the house and explore the gardens, but there are also some nice walking paths and hikes on the grounds.
Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway
If you ended up renting a car, spend some time driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway to take in the gorgeous views at the many outlooks along the way
Check out some Rooftop Bars
Asheville has numerous rooftop bars where you can get a drink while also enjoying a view of the mountains. We recommend The Montford and Capella on 9. If you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn (our blocked hotel downtown), check out the Pillar.
Attend a Concert at Salvage Station
This is a large, rustic outdoor music venue where you can enjoy a concert next along the river. Take a look and see if you are interested in any of the bands playing around our wedding!
