Candy and Leslie met when they served as facilitators for a student leadership conference in 2015, when they were assigned roommates sharing a bunk bed for the week. They stayed up late every night having great conversations and became fast friends in the course of 7 days. That fall, Candy moved to Lexington, Kentucky, where Leslie was currently living, and moved into the same apartment complex where the two shared a parking lot. Even after Leslie moved to Indianapolis, they've remained great friends, and Leslie stood up as Maid of Honor in Candy's wedding in 2019.
Jillian Carpenter

Grant met Jillian in 1995 when she entered his life as his little sister. While growing up, they were equally annoyed at each other for being the more irritating sibling. Now as adults, they have a wonderful relationship and can spend hours chatting about deep, meaningful topics as well as bad television. Grant is honored to have his sister stand next to him on his wedding day.
Clare Denhollem

Clare and Leslie met when Clare visited the University of North Texas during the spring of 2013 to interview for graduate school. As an outgoing graduate student, Leslie helped with the interview process and talked to Clare for no longer than 15 minutes the entire weekend. However, through seeing each other at various professional conferences and eventually both taking job opportunities in Indianapolis that allowed them to spend a lot time together, Leslie and Clare became great friends in the following years.
Greg DalSanto

Greg and Grant met as coworkers at Phi Sigma Kappa in 2014 and quickly became best friends. Greg is the outgoing one in the relationship, always making sure to get Grant out of the house for pizza dates. Greg is also the messy one, finding ways to spread his clothes all over a hotel room faster than you can imagine. Grant was a groomsman in Greg's wedding in 2018.
Hailey Rogers

Hailey and Leslie met at work in 2016 at Leslies' first job in Indianapolis. They quickly became friends and enjoyed planning adventures for their friend group, including girls' weekend trips and attending the Indy 500 several years in a row. Their friends called them "mom" (Leslie) and "dad" (Hailey) during these adventures, as they were always coordinating the efforts, and fit those roles. Hailey and Leslie have remained good friends through job and life changes.
Josh Youngberg

Josh and Grant met at Northern Arizona in 2008 in Sechrist dorm. They were roommates for another two years in college, became fraternity brothers, and always managing to live in the house where everyone hung out. Josh was and is super studious and driven but still finds time to laugh at dumb YouTube videos and get extremely mad while watching sports.
Megan Buerkle

Megan & Leslie met in 2007 when Leslie joined Delta Gamma sorority at the University of North Texas, of which Megan was president. They really became close friends when Megan was pursuing a master's in higher education and Leslie decided this was also her chosen career field. Megan became a mentor and a great friend to Leslie, and have helped each other get through challenging times. Leslie stood up in Megan's wedding in 2016 to her husband Richard.
Danny Kobren

Danny and Grant met as coworkers at Phi Sigma Kappa in 2018. They grew to be friends, especially after Danny moved offices and they shared a wall. They'd send each other stupid GIFs and memes and wait to hear the other person laugh from their office. Danny is always game for a happy hour double date with Grant, Leslie and his girlfriend, Sami.
