It's a story you've heard so many times it's become a cliche. Boy meets Girl at a party where she's hiding in the kitchen to escape social over-stimulation. Boy and Girl connect on social media. Boy likes a couple of Girl's posts to keep him on her mind while he works up the nerve to ask her out. Girl gets impatient and asks him out first. Boy leaves the country for 18 months, Girl doggedly pursues him. Girl assimilates into Boy's friend group to the point they tell Boy "If you break up, we're keeping her." Boy comes back and immediately moves in. A global viral pandemic and several intervening years happen. Boy and Girl decide to get married. Several more intervening years.
