Gracy and Eric met in business school at NYU, where Gracy was juggling a JD/MBA and Eric was wisely sticking to just the MBA. From the very beginning, despite their different backgrounds and upbringings, there was a natural connection between them - Gracy was enamored by Eric’s jade-like eyes, reminiscent of the Aegean Sea, his quick wit, easy charm, and a quiet confidence that seemed to lighten everything around him; while Eric was drawn to Gracy’s effortless sense of style, adventurous spirit, and natural charm, and soon fell for the care she puts into the little things. From planning thoughtful first dates to packing him surprise lunches with sweet notes during finals, Gracy shows her love with intention, warmth, and an unwavering devotion to everything and everyone she cares about. What began as a shared chapter at school soon grew into a partnership built on curiosity, mutual respect, and plenty of laughter. They weathered COVID together, adopted their beloved wirehaired dachshund, Darwin, and - along the way - Eric significantly improved his tolerance for spicy food. Their bond deepened as adventurous eaters, fiercely competitive board-game players, and enthusiastic travelers, with Gracy proudly planning the itineraries and Eric happily following her lead. After five and a half years of growing together and building a life side by side, Eric popped the big question, and Gracy said yes in a heartbeat.
