Question
Should I rent a car?
Answer
If you stay in downtown Charleston, you likely don't need one. There are plenty of ride share options (Uber/Lyft), and most places are walkable within 15-20 minutes. If you want to visit the beach while you're here (Folly Beach or Sullivan's Island), the drive takes 25-30 minutes on average.

How do I choose my meal for the reception?
Answer
You don't - dinner will be served in a dining station format - we will have a salad option, street tacos, short rib, and a pasta. You may choose to eat one, or sample all of them if you want!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 4pm. We recommend arriving by 330pm. You may also arrive earlier to enjoy the grounds and beautiful botanical gardens. Magnolia is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the USA. Guests are provided free entry to the grounds when you specify you're here for the Good wedding!

Are kids welcome?

No, due to guest number restrictions at the venue, we cannot accommodate children unless specified on the invitation.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
No, but we will be offering optional transportation (on a yellow school bus) from the venue back to downtown Charleston. The first trip will leave at approximately 930pm, and the second trip at 1030pm. PLEASE book an Uber or Lyft in ADVANCE if you plan on staying until the party is over. There are two busses which can hold 44 people each - thus not everyone will be able to get on board!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
YES! Black tie optional - Ladies we ask that you wear a floor length dress, but feel free to have fun with colors/patterns/straps. Guys - with black tie optional attire, no need for a Tux, but fellas are required to wear a suit and tie/bowtie. Just have fun with it.

Again, due to restrictions on the number of humans that can fit at the venue, no plus ones unless specified on the invitation!
