We first met over in the United Kingdom in Bristol back in 2021. Hayley broke every rule she'd ever heard from her parents growing up and climbed into a white cargo van to go get drinks with this Alec figure. If you can imagine, there wasn't much more than a second of silence in the 4 hours of the first date. After that point we decided to date ABC The Bachelor-style and meet in a new foreign destination every month or so. This took us from London, to Italy, to Tanzania, the Seychelles, Portugal, and even......Florida. After dating for two years we gave into the great cliche of "when you know, you know" and moved in together in Charleston South Carolina. Alec planned a really casual tour of the entire state of California in October of 2023 and asked Hayley to marry him while perched at the edge of Taft Point in Yosemite. We've enjoyed a long engagement and couldn't be more excited to get married in front of our family and friends on November 1st this year.
