FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask that you kindly RSVP one month prior to the wedding date. Please do not make us track y'all down for RSVPs. Love you, mean it!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We want you to wear whatever you feel your most fantastic in! The wedding is formal, black tie optional. Theme is: Out Dress the Bride and Groom! Below is the Pinterest mood board: https://pin.it/4U1SaVaUJ

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside on The Asbury Hotel's rooftop, weather permitting. If it is raining, the ceremony will be held inside. The reception and cocktail hour will be indoors. The weather in September in NJ is typically hot so please dress accordingly!

Question

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

There will not be any provided shuttles. Lyfts, Ubers, and other car services are available in the area. Please plan accordingly and be safe!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive promptly at 5 PM. If you are perpetually late (like we are-- seriously, no judgement), please plan to be there earlier. Nobody likes rushing into a ceremony after it's already begun!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation specifically notates that you have a plus one, you are more than welcome to bring one. If not, please bring yourself and yourself only. We have so many loved ones that we want to attend and we have a strict invite list.

Question

What if I have food allergies or restrictions?

Answer

We are doing our best to ensure that food provided at the venue meets all dietary needs. If you have any specific concerns, please feel free to reach out to the bride and groom.

Question

Are my kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We love kids, and we love your kids! However, our wedding will be child-free so we kindly ask that you leave your little ones at home or with a sitter.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

DUH! But, as people who've worked customer service, please bring cash to tip your bartenders and servers!
