We can't wait to have you at our wedding!

Scott and Kelsey met one beautiful fall day at Unami Park in 2019. Kelsey had just finished playing her rugby game and had stuck around to watch the Union Men play. They were introduced by a mutual friend (thanks Julie!) and quickly regarded each other with awe thanks to mutual charisma. They became fast friends, as both of them were in long-term relationships at the time. WHAT? You're telling me this wasn't instant connection and love at first sight? Now, now, my good friends. All beautiful romances must begin as a slow burn. Fast forward 2 years. Scott and Kelsey had been friendly acquaintances, happy to see each other at occasional rugby events. 2019 was coming to a close and-- as all fantastic years do-- it was ending with a Union Rugby Holiday Party. Kelsey and Scott had not seen each other in a couple months. Kelsey was checking tickets at the door and Scott was-- you guessed it!-- fashionably late in his tux and slippers. Kelsey inquired where Scott's girlfriend was, not so subtly hoping for a particular answer. Scott just shook his head and asked the same. Kelsey also shook her head and that was the moment everything fell together. Scott and Kelsey spent the rest of the night laughing and talking, barely able to pay any mind to anyone else in the room. You usually can't drag Kelsey off the dance floor at these events but, on this particular night, her butt was glued to the bar seat right next to Scott. They shared their first kiss that night and have maintained ever since that love is found at the Cranford Elks Lodge #2006. Scott and Kelsey have been pretty much inseparable ever since. Kelsey quickly moved in with Scott in Cranford and rode out the pandemic with many home cooked meals, hikes, snuggles with the girl cats, and so many silly moments. Scott took a chance on Kelsey and agreed to go with her to pursue her career dreams in Portland, OR where they have been ever since. Kelsey graduated from Pacific University in 2024 and works at a fantastic outpatient clinic. Scott is progressing his career with a beautiful company doing what he loves while providing much needed Affordable Housing. They decided to grow their little family and adopted Levi in October 2024. This life is unpredictable and ever-changing but they are happy to be doing it together. This is our silly, crazy, wild love story. The love has not faded one single bit in these past 6 years, and we are so, so excited to share it with you in September. We would not be us without all of you-- love you!!
