Bri & Kristen were each other's first college friend, meeting at freshmen orientation when Bri nudged Kristen (a complete stranger at the time) to point out the "cute basketball player" in the distance; a funny story that launched their lifelong friendship between the ying&yang besties. Ironically enough, the next moment, Kristen and Bri's fathers turned to say hello as they had known each other many years, both being North Texas pastors & their daughters had never met as they were raised in different cities. That all changed in August of 2010 & the girls would be inseparable for the rest of time. A friendship match made in Heaven began that day and has continued ever since. Outside her creative talent as a graphic designer, Kristen is wonderfully warm, a strong voice of reason and as supportive as they come; a true keeper. Kristen lives in Wiley, TX with her husband Matt & daughter Caroline, but you can find the girls buying cheap Frontier tickets often to bridge the gap between San Diego and Dallas.
John McCosker
Best Man
In older brother fashion, John set the bar for many things in life; sports, education, career and his latest feat; becoming a father to now 3 year old Caroline and living into his family-man destiny. As kids, Kev not only looked up to John, but looked a heck of a lot like him and was referred to as “mini Mac”, on the occasions people didn’t just call him “John”. Kevin was John’s best man in 2019 and the obvious choice was for John to hold this great honor on his younger brother’s big day. In addition to many accolades in his life and career; John is a senior engineer at Northrop Grumman and in 2023 received a major award for his contributions as head engineer on a prototype unmanned submersible. Yeah, he’s kind of a big deal. Beyond his accomplishments, John is kind, intelligent and has always stewarded his role as a big brother to Kevin and Kathleen with thoughtful intention and is still always the one looking out for everyone around him. John lives in Annapolis, Maryland with his wife Hannah, their daughter Caroline and their yellow lab Murphy.
Chandler McCain

Chandler was Bri's first connection, friend and soon to turn bff in San Diego and another match made in Heaven....well, Craigslist to be more specific-HA! When Bri was planning her move to the West Coast, finding housing and "normal" roommates was the hope. Instead, both girls landed a best friend, roommate of 5+ years and the "chosen sister" who would each stand beside the other on both of their wedding days as MOH. Chandler's husband Chase serves our country as a Chief Navy diver, as well as one of Bri and Kevin's best friends. His role in the military has taken their family all over the country, but Chandler (to Bri's delight) lives back in San Diego, where the tale of their lifelong friendship all began. You can find the girls doing spin classes, beach walks and girl's nights and the couples doing everything together from Cabo trips, Sunday steak cookouts & even doggy play dates. Yes, their yellow lab Indy even greeted Kev and Bri's doberman Mia the first day she came home and became her "first friend" too!🐾

Scott and Kevin has been best friends since the 4th grade, more specifically since the day Scott “rescued Kevin from the nerd crowd and invited Kev to roll with him” as Kev was the new kid at Crest Memorial Elementary school. You guessed it, the rest is history! Their brotherhood has continued ever since; through childhood, growing out of their pool-hopping phase and into manhood, starting their careers, both finding their soul mates & sharing each of their special and ceremonious wedding day's by one another’s sides. Speaking of journeying life’s seasons together, the weekend Kev shared the news of his plans to propose to Bri, Scott shared the news that he’d be becoming a father & he and his beautiful wife Marielle are new parents to their son, who deputed in March of this year. Outside of holding memories that date 25 years back, Scott is a loyal & thoughtful friend plus a truly amazing father and husband. He lives in River Edge, New Jersey with his wife Marielle, their son, and their rescue pup Penny.
Ashley Shaw

If you've followed along thus far, you may notice Bri crushes the first impression category & this friendship is no different! Ashley was Bri's first friend at a local San Diego church, where the girls approached each other, Ash leading the way saying "I feel like we need to meet and be friends". Bri responded "WOW! My thoughts exactly". Similar to the other friendships in Bri's life, the spark that started the connection between these two friends carried into a longevity of doing life together, celebrating all of life's milestones & Kev and Bri becoming "Auntie & Uncle" to Ashley and her husband Chad's beautiful sons; Maverick, Crew and their littlest on his way to debut in August 2024. Ashley is a friend defined by depth, strong faith and wisdom and is also wildly hilarious, an impressive female leader in her corporation & most of all, the most special of friends. Ashley and Chad, dear friends of Bri's for years, who quickly became family to Kevin were the first ones to pull Bri aside and say "yep, Kevin's the one." They tend to be right when they call the shots!
Bobby Matthews

Bob is another best friend and brother to Kevin and the two came into one another's lives early on as young boys in the 5th grade to join the three amigos turned “band of brothers” alongside Scott. As kids, Bob liked to push the limits and decades later when the guys joke about all of their hilarious stories growing up, some of the best were product of Bob’s “brilliant” ideas. In all seriousness though, Bob is more than a friend and truly a brother to Kevin. As a kid and growing up, Kev was the bonus kid in Bob’s house and Bob’s family was and still is Kevin’s. Particularly Michelle Matthews, Bob’s mother, was like a second mom to Kevin, as he lost his mom at an early age in life. Decades later, The Matthews household is still a place the whole gang calls "home" on visits back to Wildwood, even Bri now! Bob is a loyal friend, passionate and hardworking and a great story teller, let us tell you. And boy is he a great dad to his precious son. He lives in Sewell, New Jersey with his son Grayson.
Kathleen McCosker

Also know as "Kev's (rather gorgeous) "other half" Kathleen is not only Kev's sister, but his twin! Kat quickly became a special friend to Bri and sister-in-law-to-be who felt like a sister from day one. After all, everyone talks about the "twin effect" and not only is it wildly true with Kevin and Kathleen, but it makes her all the more lovable to all of us who are already crazy about Kevin! After their first holiday together, Bri described Kat to her family as "Kevin with angel wings". She and Bri's friendship is extra special as they both share a love an adoration for Kevin & getting along as two peas in a pod comes pretty dang natural. Kat and Paul live in Holmdel, NJ with their children Koa, Gia and Pauly. When family visits bring Kevin, Bri and Kat together, you can bet on 3 things; there will be heart to hearts, there will be belly laughs and there will be dirty martinis.
Chris Centineo

Chris is the oldest brother in the Centineo family and has always been the big protective brother you'd expect any big brother to be of his only sister. We laugh writing this as Chris couldn't fake not liking any of the guys he didn't & couldn't hide how pleased he was when Kevin first met the Centineo family. In short, brother bear approved! Outside of being a family man & just the best dad ever, Chris enjoys all things Texas; hunting, farm to table living (yes they have their own chickens & Kelsey makes the best bread you'll ever taste) and serving in various areas of ministry at their local church. In addition, Chris operates a pool service business as well as a real estate business in Texas with their Dad. He lives in Arlington, TX with his wife Kelsey and their son, Judah.
Hannah McCosker

As soon to be "sister in laws" Hannah and Bri have one thing in common; they both dig McCosker boys! Marrying Kevin's oldest brother John in 2019, Hannah joined the family and in 2020, the girls met and it didn't take long for their friendship to take off. Hannah, who is the oldest of 3 sisters, quickly became the "sister" Bri never had and the two's friendship surpassed the bounds of merely gaining the same last name (though that's a fun plus with any friend!). Hannah is intelligent, wildly driven & successful but also one of the most thoughtful friends anyone can have; one piece of proof being that ours is one of 4 weddings Hannah was asked to stand in this year! AND she still said yes! Beyond being a confidant and voice of reason, true qualities of any "big sister", Hannah is among the best story tellers you'll ever meet and keeps EVERYONE laughing when she gets on a roll. We just love her. Hannah and John live in Annapolis, Maryland with their daughter Caroline.
JoJo Centineo

JoJo is Bri's youngest brother and beyond being a sibling, is a friend to Bri & Kevin. After establishing his recording studio in Dallas, Jojo followed his dream and moved to California a few years after Bri in pursuit of his career in music production in LA. He not only is the creative wizard of the family, but one whose keen understanding and sensitivity towards others makes him a trustworthy confidant, friend and well, kind of an amazing songwriter. When JoJo isn't ghostwriting, recording artists or playing the music business game, he is spending time with friends, hiking or biking the trails/canyons of Socal or traveling to see family. Jojo lives in Woodland Hills, California with his girlfriend Nina (his childhood friend from Texas which we think is just the best) & his husky/wolf Kya, who you can find jamming with the artists in his LA based recording studio.
