This is an exciting hotel for us to feature as friends of ours bought a classic motel and did a full renovation to now reveal this beautiful, modern and Scandinavian set of studio units right on the water of Mission Beach. For a comfortable and budget friendly option, Holiday Inn Windansea is one of two of our picks in terms of price, value and of course, distance to the beach! Every hotel on our website is walkable to the water, and the Holiday Inn is walkable to Windansea beach, arguably the most beautiful beach in San Diego (Kev & Bri's favorite without a doubt) and a 4-5 min Uber to the venue. The Shoal La Jolla, mentioned below, is another great option.
