Below you will find some information and recommendations for out-of-town guests. We selected these hotels based on proximity to the venue, but there are plenty of hotels and vacation rentals in the D.C. area to choose from if you wish to look elsewhere. If you have any questions, or would like any additional recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out to Freddy or Kate.

Travel Note

Flights

If you are flying into D.C., there are three airports that are all considered the D.C. metro region - Ronald Raegan Washington National Airport (DCA), Dulles International Airport (IAD), and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI). While we have been known to fly through all three, DCA is by far the most convenient and is what we recommend for traveling in for the weekend. If you have any questions about flights, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Getting Around

If you are patient in traffic, have a good eye for finding parking spots, and are willing to walk a few minutes to your destination - driving is a fine way to get around town! There is a parking garage under the wedding venue, but please note that it is not ideal for large cars and can get very crowded on weekends. However, Uber and Lyft are ubiquitous in D.C., as are traditional cabs (they are red in D.C., not yellow). We recommend using one of these services to get around before and after the wedding if you aren't walking. D.C. also has a robust public transportation system, which is pretty user friendly and affordable. The metro system is slow on the weekends so please keep that in mind if you are sightseeing. Georgetown is *not* on a metro line, so you will need to use another form of transportation to get to and from the wedding venue. We want our guests to be safe and relaxed, so please reach out if you have any questions about getting around!
