We ask that we receive all RSVPs via mail or online by August 18th.
Black tie optional. What does this mean? For men, feel free to break out your tuxedo! A formal suit and tie is also appropriate. Ladies, we know you know. Floor-length or otherwise formal dresses (or pantsuits, if you prefer).
Doors will open at 5:30pm for guests. We expect the ceremony to start promptly at 5:45pm, so please take your seats!
Yes! Please contact us as soon as possible so we can make arrangements. You can also note it on your RSVP. Please let us know if you have a dairy or shellfish allergy.
Given the venue's proximity to the hotels and Georgetown area, there is no transportation provided. For guests staying in Georgetown, we highly recommend the short walk to Sequoia. For guests outside of Georgetown, we recommend Uber and Lyft as the easiest way to get around.
There is a pay-for-parking garage located directly underneath Sequoia on the Georgetown waterfront. However, please note that it is not ideal for large cars, and can get very crowded on the weekends. If you plan to park, you should add 15-20 minutes to your travel time to find a spot and take the elevator up to the venue. We recommend the short walk from the Watergate to Sequoia, or using a car service (Uber, Lyft, or cab) instead!
If your invitation says "and guest," then yes! We have limited space, but if anything changes the bride or groom will let you know.
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children. For out of town guests that need assistance finding a babysitter, please reach out and we'll do our best to connect you with someone in the area. Children under three years old may attend on parents' laps (no additional meal provided).
We will be adhering to all venue, D.C., and CDC guidance for our wedding. We'll continue to update you here as we get closer to the date, so please check back in!
We have a gift registry with Zola (see tabs above). However, we know most of our guests are traveling for our wedding, and are simply grateful for your time, love, and support celebrating this happy day!
