For the wedding, we are going for Beach Elegance. Think sundresses, cocktail dresses, nice pants, dress shorts, button down shirts... suits and ties are optional. It's going to be a Catholic ceremony so we will be in a chapel. Ladies, feel free to wear heels as all events on the wedding day will be on hard surfaces. For the rest of the resort, make sure to pack a mix of outfits. The restaurants and bars may have strict dress codes and many require more formal wear for dinner. Ladies, everything is pretty much fair game as long as you don't wear rubber flip flops (like you would wear to the pool). ***Men MUST be in a collared shirt (short sleeved or long sleeved) and be wearing pants for any of the indoor restaurants. Any closed toe shoe is fine. Jeans are also fine. NO shorts, even if they are dress shorts. We do recommend bringing cash in order to tip - this is greatly appreciated although not technically required as gratuity is included in your room rate. Otherwise, all of your food, drinks, and activities are paid for as part of your stay! The resort offers a huge variety of activities and non-motorized water sports on site. If you would like to rent motorized water vehicles, they offer them for an additional charge.
This is also a general guideline to tipping at a resort (based on two people). Drinks: $1-$2 each (many prefer to tip at the beginning or end of the day if they’re staying in the same spot). The above-noted website will allow you to submit your room request as well as any other requests you may have. A minimum 3 nights stay is required to use the pre-negotiated room rate. Every room is a suite and has a beautiful balcony. Again, the resort has asked that all wedding guest bookings be made through Jeff/holaweddings. We highly recommend reserving your room as soon as possible in order to lock in the suite you want! There will be an initial deposit per person to reserve the room. The remaining balance of the stay will be collected by December 12, 2021. Please do NOT book a room through a third party website.

As long as you'd like! We are hosting events Friday and Saturday but we will be staying at the resort Monday - Monday in order to fully relax and take advantage of everything the resort has to offer. If you'd like to stay after the wedding, please do! Our special group rate allows guests to stay in discounted rooms for 3 days before and 3 days after the arrival of the group (subject to availability). For example, if the group arrives on Friday they will have the same room rate applied to their stay if they come three days before then or three days after the wedding (i.e. Tuesday February 15th - Wednesday February 23rd).
The short answer is: yes. Any guests attending the wedding MUST be staying at the resort on Saturday. If you are thinking of staying off-site, please let us know as we will have to coordinate with the resort for a visitors pass on the day of the wedding and an associated fee!

U.S. citizens that are not fully vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative Covid-19 test 1 day prior to departure. Citizens that are fully vaccinated are required to present the airline with proof of vaccination along with results of a negative Covid-19 test taken 3 days before their flight. You can request the Antigen1 and PCR Tests Service from the very moment of your arrival. It is important to schedule an appointment 3 days before your departure flight. Remember to make your appointment at the laboratory area or through the Concierge desk. Service is available every day from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Concierge will tell you where the sample will be collected on the resort premises. Results will be delivered to your email within an hour for antigen tests or after 24 hours for PCR tests.
