TRAVEL
The drive from NYC to Acadia is a long one (about 8 hours without stops). We encourage our guests to carpool as much as possible and offer to help our guests arrange carpools should they be interested. If you are interested in driving (or splitting the drive) for a carpool, please reach out!
Hate driving? Bangor International Airport is about 40 miles from Acadia National Park and Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport is just off the island!
While exploring Acadia National Park, we encourage you to use the park shuttles as much as possible as parking can be scarse during peak times.

LODGING
We encourage our guests to stay together at local vacation rental houses, and are happy to help arrange groups and share options should anyone be interested.
If you would prefer a hotel, there are ample options in Bar Harbor and a few others scattered throughout Mount Desert Island. Please reach out for help/suggestions.
