We first visited Acadia National Park in September of 2023. This was Marissa's second time in Acadia and William's first trip ever to a National Park.
This picture was taken on the Jordan Pond Trail.

Acadia National Park is on Mt Desert Island, off the coast of Maine. It is surrounded by water and smaller islands on all sides, making for amazing views and activities such as kayaking and cruises.

William fly fishing at Eagle Lake. The lakes in Acadia have such crystal clear water, you can see straight to the bottom. Bring your poles and join us for a fishing day before our wedding.

Is that Hyrule? Rivendell? Nope, just one of many magical spots you can find just around the corner in Acadia.

Jordan Pond Loop Trail's Western half features boardwalks and small rock scrambles, while the Eastern half is perhaps the easiest trail in Acadia while still providing great views.

Marissa captured this stunning view of the night sky from the Bass Harbor Lighthouse parking lot. This is one of our favorite places to visit on the "Quiet Side" of the island.

Stunning views like these seem to always be just around the corner in Acadia.

The long exposure shot combined with the red flashes of light from the lighthouse to create this fun image also captured by Marissa

The Beehive Trail is one of the most intense trails in Acadia, requiring the use of metal rungs in many areas. Don't worry though, there is also a less strenuous secondary route up the mountain.

The view of The Bowl, a small mountain lake, as seen from the Beehive Trail descent. We stopped here to admire the view for awhile, but neglected to go for a swim when we saw leeches in the water!

Will & Marissa enjoying the view during a quick break while on the Jordan Pond Loop Trail. This fun 3-mile loop is right next to the Jordan Pond House, whose fresh-baked popovers are a must-try.

Pete, the executive manager at Beal’s Lobster Pier! Think we can ask him to officiate?

Testing out our future reception spot! Bibs recommended if you're getting the lobster.
