Getting here and where you’re staying

The Wedding Website of Mathew Fiegleman and Caitlin Funk

Flight

Palm Springs International Airport

Palm Springs is served by a regional airport, making it a convenient option for many travelers. There are several flights from NYC and Philly to PSP with just one layover. If you're not local to SoCal, we recommend planning a pre- or post-trip to the area. This time of year offers perfect temperatures, and with kids back in school, the crowds are much lighter. Whether it’s starting in SF for a PCH and Big Sur road trip, flying into Vegas to check off the Grand Canyon before heading through the California desert, flying into Lake Tahoe before making Matt's favorite drive down CA's 395 (visiting Mt Whitney & Death Valley on the way!), or spending a week in Yosemite or Sequoia National Park—now is the ideal time to explore!

Flight

LAX

Many guests will be flying into LAX for the direct flight. While you're more than welcome to rent a car with friends for the weekend (since LA is definitely a driving city!), over 60% of our guests are planning to drive out from Los Angeles. If you'd like to make a new friend or share the ride, let us know—we’d be happy to connect you with others looking for carpool options!

Hotel

Casa Cody

175 South Cahuilla Road, Palm Springs, CA 92262

The core vision for our wedding is that it does not feel like an across the country work conference where you’re in room 407 at the local Marriott and then hop in a shuttle for a 5 hour party before flying home the next morning. If you’re paying to come to beautiful SoCal at the best time of year, we want you in an open air resort sharing casita blocks with all of your closest friends around multiple pools. To that end, we’ve completely privatized the charming 30 room boutique hotel Casa Cody—the oldest hotel in Palm Springs—from October 2nd–4th. We worked exceptionally hard to secure the best possible rates (Matt’s specialty—he’ll tell you he’s not cheap, just “cost-to-value conscious”) so that as many of our favorite people as possible can stay right in the heart of the celebration for 2 straight days. The room rates average $500-$550 per night, which includes all meals for the weekend aside arrival night (as we want guests to experience iconic downtown Palm Springs for one meal, which is steps away from the resort). Otherwise, both breakfasts, many drinks, and a few light meals, etc all included! Once we send invitations, you’ll confirm the email for us to send your assigned room to, at which point you can reserve the stay and rest assured you’re next door to your besties. If you have any concerns about your assigned room or if this doesn’t feel like the right fit, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Matt or Caitlin—we’re more than happy to help arrange alternative accommodations that’ll ensure you’re walking distance to the full weekend of activities and that you’ll have a room block discount.
