Seattle, WA is approximately 1.5 hours from Shelton, and Portland, OR is approximately 2 hours! Either are great options for flying into. Right now (Early April) flights from Chicago are around $300- the flights CAN get cheaper, but this is a good price on average!

Shelton Inn

There are 10 rooms being held at the Shelton Inn until AUG 1st with a $15 discount per night from Thursday 8/27- Monday 8/31. To reserve with the hotel block, please call Shelton Inn and ask for a room on the block under "Allison Feist". If you are interested in this option, book it quickly to guarantee a spot! You can choose any range of dates within that block. It's a small hotel- if the 10 rooms are filled we can request to add more depending on availability from the hotel. They will not be able to hold rooms for the block after Aug 1st. Shelton Inn, recently remodeled, is located in downtown Shelton- a small logging town in Mason County, WA. It's around 20 min from the venue, and we will be setting up a shuttle to take guests back and forth to the venue. Shelton Inn is VERY walkable to: Restaurants Thrift shops Groceries A coffee shop Irish Pub It's also just down the street from a brewery that Dan loves. The Feist Family favorite has always been to get Blizzards from Dairy Queen and take them to the local park with a fantastic jungle gym. It's got the best combination of small town charm with new life breathed into it with highly recommended Thai, Mexican and American fare (to name a few) restaurants on the main street.

Little Creek Casino Resort

Little Creek Casino is located approximately 20 min from the venue along the way towards Olympia from Shelton. Unfortunately, we are unable to get a hotel block or discount for less than 50 rooms, but luckily this is a large venue and has plenty of rooms available! They are unlikely to sell out, but may run out of specific room types. The casino has a spa, RV parking, restaurant, and lots of amenities. It is around $191/night starting, depending on the day of the week. It's a short drive over to shelton or slightly longer drive to olympia (less than 20 min either way, depending) if you wanted to use this as a home base. We are looking to include this hotel in the shuttle, provided people are booking with them- so please let us know if you do!

There are some VRBO options close to the property- most are around 3 bedrooms. Please check the map on the "things to do" page to see the recommended areas to stay! Please note, that VRBOs will be not likely be able to be added to the shuttle route, so you will need to park at a shuttle pick up/ drop off stop to get to the venue, due to very limited parking and a steep hill to walk up/down if parking off the main road. Travel Note

Bus Options from Airport vs Rental Cars

There are some bus or shuttle options available from the airport, but generally speaking you will need a car. If your plan is to make it to shelton, hang out there walking around, shuttle to the venue and back, and then make it back to the airport, you could make it work without a car! But it will be very difficult to get anywhere else around the PNW without a car if you want to venture out at all, so a rental car is highly recommended.

Olympia Hotel Options

If you aren't loving any of the options listed, there are tons of hotel options in Olympia, Wa- the state capital! We will not be able to accomodate a shuttle to olympia, and with limited parking you would need to be able to park at a shuttle pickup/drop off stop (most likely the Little Creek Casino en route to venue/olympia) and shuttle to the venue still.
